From Monsul going north you'll find various coves like Cala de los Amarillos, Cala Principe, Cala Chica, Cala Barronal, Cala de Monsul, Cala de la Media Luna. Further north you'll find the golden sands, and in the south the sands get progressively darker. They all have a low occupancy and sort of a difficult access. They are inside the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata (natural park) in the Biosphere Reserve.
