When it comes to windsurfing, Spain is a Mecca; it's one of the best places in Europe, with numerous top class locations and perfect all year round conditions.

For a start, Spain has thousands of kilometres of coastline, with all different kinds of wind conditions and a warm sunny climate. It's been the preferred location for numerous windsurfing competitions over years and still is. They take place all year round.

One of Almeria's best spots is "El Ejido". Close by in Murcia, there's the Mar Menor area which has ideal conditions for learning the sport. It has a complete maritime resort with over fifteen schools where you can practice. In towns close by to Almeria, you'll find numerous companies offering equipment hire and windsurfing schools.
