Finana has grown considerably since the new road was built between Almeria and Granada. Yet, it has still managed to preserve the traces of its Moorish origin.
The Moorish castle remains intact. All the white Moorish houses have the typical flat roofs and are surounded by narrow zigzag streets. There's also the Mudejar church which was built on the site of an ancient mosque. |
