Fiñana has grown considerably since the new road from Granada to Almeria was built. Besides that point it is still a municipality that holds the beauty of times past, of it´s muslim era.

Finana has grown considerably since the new road was built between Almeria and Granada. Yet, it has still managed to preserve the traces of its Moorish origin.

The Moorish castle remains intact. All the white Moorish houses have the typical flat roofs and are surounded by narrow zigzag streets. There's also the Mudejar church which was built on the site of an ancient mosque.
