The Sierra de los Fiambres is located in a marvelous and surrealist scenery.

The Sierra de los Filabres is located in a beautiful and surreal landscape. The countrside is stunning; covered in olive groves and orchards of citrus trees. The area is surrounded by dramatic hills and huge isolated valleys. Amongst the quaint mountain villages, there are abondoned fincas and pastures of wild thyme.

This is also a great place for bird watching - it attracts hundreds of visitors each year. The villages in this area mainly rely on extracting marble as a source of income.

Olula de Castro is located in the sunny part of the Sierra de los Filabres and made up of groups of white houses with typically Spanish slate roofs. The town is built amongst rows and rows of olive and almond trees.

Bacares is probably the most rustic pueblo in the province. It's located at the foot of the Calar Alto Observatory and set amongst a stunning rural landscape.
